In Greene County district court Anthony Charles Lange, 37, of Ankeny was sentenced to 30 days in jail after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of burglary- third degree. The jail time is concurrent to jail terms in six Polk County Cases. He was fined $625 with a $218.75 surcharge; both were suspended. He must pay a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative surcharge and $25 victim restitution. (Sentencing: Honorable Joseph B. McCarville)
Megan Ann Stuhr, 24, of Fort Dodge was sentenced to five years in prison after she changed her plea to guilty to a charge of forgery. She was fined $750 with a $262.50 surcharge; both sere suspended. She was sentenced to two years ins prison on a charge of identity theft. She was fined $625 with a $218.75 surcharge; both were suspended. She was sentenced to one year in prison on a charge of theft- fourth degree. She was fined $315 with a $110.25 surcharge; both were suspended. The prison terms are all concurrent and also concurrent to a term in another Greene County case and cases in Hamilton, Webster and Story counties. The judge ruled Stuhr is unable to pay jail fees and court costs, but a judgment was entered for a $125 LEI surcharge on each charge. (Sentencing: McCarville)
Persons pleaded not guilty at arraignment as follow: Patricia Lynn Monthei, 51, of Panora, operating while intoxicated- third offense; Carla Rachel Lehrkamp, 26,of Scranton, OWI- first offense; and Bryce Colton Murano, 20, of Woodward, OWI- first offense. Trial dates were set for Aug. 27 in every case.
Information is available since the return of an arrest warrant that Benjamin Anthony Allen, 29, of Jefferson is charged with theft- second degree. The warrant was issued 5/08 and returned 6/26.
